Black British Business Award

BBB Awards

I'm delighted to have been selected as one of three finalists for Senior Leader in the professional services category at the British Black Business Awards in 2022.
My thanks go to those lovely companies that nominated me in the first instance. Also to the judges, who took the time to find out more about our journeys', hopes and fears.
Thanks especially must go to its Founder Sophie Chandauka MBA and the BBBA organisation as a whole and their partners, for promoting so many business individuals, both those at the large corporates and the smaller, self-directed companies where people of colour play a significant role in their success.
This shows there are many role models for the ‘younger’ black generation to follow, TheBBBAwards enable us all to celebrate the exceptional achievements and contributions of black professionals and entrepreneurs in the UK notably across six industries: professional services; consumer and luxury; start-ups; financial services; arts and media; and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and maths).
"The BBBAwards is more than just a ceremony. It is a powerful change agent for the wider racial and ethnic minority agenda in the UK, creating a hub where businesses share ideas and take concrete actions to create working environments for all talented individuals to succeed".
Having met some of the talented 'rivals' in the 2022 cohort, I am honoured to have been in the same company.
