The Bi-Annual BAHID conference will take place on the 16th - 18th June 2023 at the Fire Service College, Moreton-on-Marsh
This June, BAHID is back for the second post pandemic in-person conference and the call for papers is now open
We are inviting speakers, whether established in their field, early career or students for podium presentations, posters and workshops on any topic related to the field of Human Identification.
For this conference we are especially keen to hear presentations shedding light on lesser known aspects of human identification, on mental health in forensic sciences, and on resources available to/experiences of those seeking to start or advance their career in this field. As we are well aware it is not always easy to take those first steps, we would also like to hear about your experiences and pathways to the role you are in now. Is this where you wanted to be, or did you envision a different pathway at the start? We are especially welcoming student presentations in any area of identification, with prizes to be won for all student presentations (oral or poster).
We are heading back to the fabulous Fire Service College at Moreton-in-Marsh. An excellent venue offering a range of facilities, wonderful accommodation, and food (not to mention the subsidised bar) all in one venue. Conference registration is now open, to book your place head on over to the conference registration page.
